Location is everything when it comes to hotels in Las Vegas. Fortunately, the Cosmopolitan very much delivers in this regard. Situated right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, staying at the Cosmopolitan gives you easy access to all the best casinos, entertainment options, and shopping spots. Rooms at the Cosmopolitan feature private terraces offering commanding views along the Strip, including towards the famed fountains at the Bellagio. A private terrace is the perfect place to relax in the cool desert air after an evening spent out on the town. The Cosmopolitan also features a wide selection of bars and restaurants and its own 100,000 square foot casino gaming floor.

Guest rooms at the Cosmopolitan are stylishly decorated with an understated décor that uses a mostly greyscale color pallet. Various room styles are available ranging from standard queen bedrooms all the way to multistory suites packed full with elaborate amenities. The Cosmopolitan’s outdoor swimming pool has lots of great lounge space with views towards the various surrounding hotels. You can also take advantage of the fitness center or the on-premises spa. There is lots to choose from and plenty of things to do, all of which help to make the Cosmopolitan one of the best hotel stays in all Las Vegas.

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas hotel exterior

Ah, Venice! With international travel still on pause, your best bet for enjoying a little slice of Italy is to book yourself a room at the Venetian Resort. It’ll be as if Venice came to you. With a sophisticated replica of the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark’s Campanile, and the Venetian canals, you’ll feel as if you’ve been magically transported to the famed lagoon. Go for a ride in a gondola, complete with a singing gondolier as you glide through the indoor canals. Hop off for some upscale shopping and dining before heading downstairs to the casino floor. The Venetian and the accompanying Plazzo together comprise the world’s second largest hotel. It’ll take you some time before you run out of things to do at one of Las Vegas’ best places to stay.

With over 7,000 rooms, the Venetian has one to match your needs. All rooms are tastefully decorated and come with standard amenities. Large windows provide excellent views towards the desert and mountains in the distance. A living area is separated from the beds by a stepdown and a wrought iron railing. The resort houses numerous excellent restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisines. Fitness and recreational facilities include a rock-climbing wall, spa, and various pools. Public areas on and off the gaming floor are luxuriantly styled and will leave you feeling like Venetian royalty. Come discover why the Venetian is one of the best hotels in all Las Vegas.

Mandalay Bay Las Vegas hotel exterior

With gold-tinted windows rising high above the desert floor, Mandalay Bay is everything you’d expect from a premiere Las Vegas resort. Here you can take advantage of numerous on-site dining options in between jaunts around the casino floor. Mandalay Bay is also home to Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil. The immersive journey combines classic hits from the King of Pop with the gravity-defying acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil. It’s a sensory extravaganza! Mandalay Bay also includes a variety of nightlife and entertainment options including LIGHT nightclub, House of Blues, and several bars and lounges. Oh, and did we mention there’s also the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay?

Guest rooms come in several standard configurations. Large floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views out across Las Vegas and its surroundings. Splashes of color accent the interior décor, which also features wood paneling in some cases. If that’s not to your liking, there are also several other styles to choose from as well. You can be sure Mandalay Bay will have something to suit your tastes. There’s a large outdoor wave pool complemented by a lazy river and several smaller pools. Indoor recreation facilities are available for use as well. There’s plenty to love about Mandalay Bay, which is why we’re excited to feature it on our list of the best stays in Vegas for 2021.

Luxor hotel Las Vegas exterior

A Las Vegas classic, Luxor has been delighting guests for going on two decades now. Its iconic pyramid design and Ancient Egyptian theme are perennial favorites. Least you think Luxor has failed to keep pace with the times, renovations and upgraded rooms ensure Luxor is anything but boring. A large outdoor pool offers a great place to relax in full view of the hotel’s eye-catching exterior. You can also enjoy a relaxing session at the Nurture Spa and Salon. Take your pick of a steam bath, dry sauna, or hot tub. Luxor’s gaming floor covers an impressive 120,000 square feet and is jam-packed with all the hot slots and table action. This fall, take advantage of Luxor’s close proximity to Allegiant Stadium where you can head over for a Las Vegas Raiders NFL game.

The guest rooms at the Luxor are stylish and modern with several standard configurations available. Interestingly, the hotel’s pyramid design means windows in the guest rooms offer great views of the night sky. This can be particularly appealing at dusk when golden embers backlight the mountains in the distance. You’ll enjoy both the convenience and the charm of classic Las Vegas when you book a stay at the Luxor hotel.

Wynn Las Vegas hotel exterior

The Wynn Las Vegas is a fabulous place for a Vegas vacation. With luxury appointments throughout, you’ll really be able to indulge yourself here. Unique among our selection of great Vegas hotels, the Wynn is the only one that can boast an 18-hone professional golf course. Go for an early dip in one of the Wynn’s four designer pools before heading off to your afternoon tee time. In the evening enjoy all you can eat at Wynn’s buffet, or visit one of the resort’s other restaurants. A premium shopping experience with boutique brands like Chanel and Louis Vuitton also awaits you when you stay at the Wynn. Oh and we haven’t even mentioned Wynn’s great casino gaming floor yet. Choose among over 1,800 slot machines or pull up a chair at one of 26 poker tables. Place your bets!

Guest rooms are elegant and feature floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the Las Vegas skyline. Wynn’s several different room choices ensure you won’t have to settle for something less than ideal. The hotel’s fitness center and spa are great places to relax if you have some down time. Though given all there is to do at the Wynn, you might not have very much of that. We know you’ll find the Wynn every bit as special as we did, which is why we have no doubts about recommending the Wynn as one of our best Las Vegas hotels for 2024.

Fremont Street Experience

Las Vegas Boulevard is the epicenter of modern Las Vegas; however, this wasn’t always the case. During its heyday, Downtown Las Vegas was where the action happened. Today, you can still experience this legacy at the Fremont Street Experience. Classic facades from old casinos have been preserved along with copious amounts of neon lighting. It all harkens back to those glory days in the 1970s. Concert stages along the pedestrian mall provide live music and the entire overhead canopy is a gigantic projection screen with rolling displays. After dark, the energy picks up and Fremont comes alive.

Red Rock Canyon

Okay let's face it. There’s only so much time you can spend in a casino listening to the tedious chirping of slot machines and the click-click of people shuffling poker chips. Las Vegas is smack in the middle of some of the most incredible natural landscapes in the entire United States. Failing to explore these is borderline criminal. Fortunately you don’t have to go far to see some stunning scenery. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is only about 24 km west of the city, easily reachable by car or with one of the many tour operators in town. The park features bicycling and hiking trails, in addition to a 13 mile one-way loop road that winds through the park.

The Neon Museum Las Vegas

Ever wondered what it was like to wander around the Las Vegas of yore? Find out at the Neon Museum where you can see some classic Sin City history preserved in light. Located near the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas, the Neon Museum is partially housed in what was once the iconic La Concha Motel. Originally designed by architect Paul Williams, the structure is considered a historic piece of so-called Googie architecture. Today the Neon Museum has over a dozen historic and restored Las Vegas signs including those from the Stardust and the Sahara. Obviously the best time to go is after dark when you can see the old marquees in their full glory.

The High Roller Las Vegas

Vegas is a town with few limits. It also happens to have the world’s tallest Ferris wheel. The High Roller is perched behind the Flamingo Resort along the Las Vegas Monorail. A ride lasts roughly 30 minutes as you’re whisked high in the sky in an enclosed car. Don’t worry, there’s air-conditioning. Unlike other amusement rides, you don’t have to worry about motion sickness on the High Roller as the spherical cabins are able to pivot on their own axes. Other than the scenery slowly changing outside, you will barely know you are moving. Take a ride after dark when you can enjoy all the lights on the Strip. This is a fun and different thing to do that will let you get above it all.

Hoover Dam

When it comes to modern engineering marvels, few are as well-known and beloved as the Hoover Dam. Situated along the Colorado River a mere 31 miles from downtown Las Vegas, Hoover Dam is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region. Constructed during the depths of the Great Depression in the early 1930s, Hoover Dam is an elegant structural marvel. Visitors can tour the dam and learn about its history and importance as the prime source of electricity powering Las Vegas. The dam sits on the border between Nevada and Arizona. Curiously these two states are in different time zones. In winter when Nevada reverts back to Pacific Standard Time, the clocks on the dam’s twin intake towers show different times.

National Atomic Testing Museum Las Vegas

Back in Las Vegas proper there’s a curious museum that harkens back to when the United States tested nuclear weapons at the Nevada Test Site in the 1950s. Located less than 100 miles away, the test range was so close it was possible to see mushroom clouds in Las Vegas and to feel the seismic shocks created when the bombs detonated. The National Atomic Testing Museum documents the history of US nuclear testing in an effort to educate people about the legacy of nuclear deterrence and geo-political history. Visitors can learn about how the Nevada Test Site came to be, what sorts of nuclear tests were conducted there, and view a replica of the control room where the countdown for each test was conducted.

Whether it's luxury shopping, thrill seeking, high-stakes gaming, or incredible natural wonders, Las Vegas has it all and more. Don't wait and miss out on your chance to lock in great room rates for 2024. Book one of the best places to stay in Vegas today!
