My flight was delayed, but when I arrived they were still waiting for me with a sign. The process was quite straight forward. Within minutes of arriving, I was able to pick up my rental and drive away. They spoke minimal English but google translate worked. They also had whatsapp, so I was able to communicate with them if needed.

The car rental company offered a convenient pick-up and drop-off service upon arrival at Shimojima Airport, and also provided a return service to the airport after the car was returned. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the car wasn't brand new, it was easy to drive. 👍 They also added me on Line, which made communication much easier. Renting a car in advance was definitely more convenient!

Airport pickup was smooth. Then we were taken to the car rental location. Every information was told in 10min then we had the keys. The car was slightly older than I imagined but it wasnt a problem. It barely used any gas in 5 days. The drop off on the last day was a bit different. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for them to arrive but they apologized countless times and it wasnt a huge deal for us. It's a good company that you can trust in my opinion.

Maybe because it was a budget model, the condition isn't great. It's an automatic, but while driving, it felt like manual shifting—thump-thump, like when you mishandle the clutch. It felt a bit unsettling. The only decent aspect was the fuel economy; it went from a full tank to about half full over three nights and four days. The pickup process and the owner's kindness were top-notch. If you pick a "good" car, the first issue should be resolved. The lack of Korean-language customer service is a bit disappointing, but there were no major problems with the pickup and return process.

The vehicle was a bit older and had nearly 100,000 kilometers on the clock, but it performed excellently during our vacation. It was equipped with a smartphone mount, making it easy to navigate using a mobile phone and Google Maps. The small, agile "kei car" was perfect for tight parking spaces, and the pickup and drop-off processes went very smoothly, thanks to clearly presented, easy-to-understand documentation in English. Although the car's features weren't demonstrated in person, they were all self-explanatory. I would rent a car here again.

When I mentioned the first car making a noise, they immediately replaced it and were so apologetic! The second car ran perfectly fine. The rental car owners were so kind; they even used a translator to quickly answer my questions, making my trip very comfortable. Thank you! Since the owners are Toy Story fans, we really connected and had a lot of fun chatting while showing off our Toy Story photos.🧡🧡 I will definitely stay here again if I visit Miyakojima next time.🧡🧡 I will miss both the lovely female owner and the reliable male owner.

All the staff at Sky World Rental Shop were very friendly. The condition of the vehicle was also good. Since it is located inland on the main island, you have to take a pickup vehicle from the airport and travel a little over 30 minutes, so please keep that in mind when planning your itinerary. I think I'll try renting a cute car next time haha.
