Ctrip got the boarding address in Cannes wrong; it should be at the Old Port of Cannes. We lost €100 on taxi fares because of the wrong address, but our balcony cabin was great. Cruise travelers should book their tickets as early as possible; booking six months in advance can save you over €2000 per person. Even if you haven't received your visa yet, book beforehand, as cancellation only incurs a €50 fee, which is far less than the €4500 we paid extra for a room.

An absolutely perfect travel experience, with a wide variety of food options including plenty of meat, vegetables, fruits, and beverages—all deliciously prepared to accommodate different dietary preferences. The staff were all very friendly, and the music and dance performances on board were outstanding.

Our first cruise trip with our family of five was fantastic! First and foremost, a huge thank you to our tour guide, Li Zheng. We'd always traveled independently before, so this was our first time on a group tour. Li Zheng was incredibly kind and patient, with a vast knowledge of everything from astronomy to geography. Listening to her explain various aspects of European history was far more interesting than any history class we'd ever attended. When we met other Chinese tour guides at the hotel, they were nothing compared to her! Even my mom said she'd definitely book a tour with Li Zheng next time. The second pleasant surprise was that we were given an extra room on the cruise. We were supposed to be three people sharing a room, but when we got our tickets, we discovered one of us had a single room, so the room wasn't cramped at all. The only downside was that the beds on the cruise were quite small, which wasn't ideal for us accustomed to the large beds in Chinese dorms. The two days of land travel were quite a lot of driving; European traffic is terrible. It would have been perfect if we had done the land travel first and then gone on the ship. In short, thank you, Li Zheng! 5 stars!

The food and beverage service was satisfactory, and the cabin cleaning service, which was done two or three times a day, was also good. However, other aspects, such as the attitude of the front desk staff and travel advisors, were just average, and the entertainment options were relatively limited.

Cruises are quite a unique experience, taking you to different locations each day. You can participate in onboard activities or other activities outside, all at your own expense and your choice. The Mediterranean cruise was calm and very comfortable! Personally, I found the food on board to be just average; the flavors were bland, and you had to add chili yourself. Overall, I would highly recommend this kind of trip.
