Qiuxiapu exceeded my expectations, truly worthy of being one of Shanghai's five major gardens. As soon as you enter the main gate, you will see the main hall of Jiading Chenghuang Temple. The main hall, built in the Ming Dynasty, is a double-eave hip roof building, with golden bricks on the ground, surrounded by ancient cypress and stone carvings, and the sense of history is overwhelming. 【About Qiuxiapu】
It is a municipal cultural relic protection unit in Shanghai. It was established in the 15th year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1502). The main part was originally the private garden of Gong Hong, the Minister of Works in the Ming Dynasty. There are pavilions, towers, gardens, winding paths, lush bamboo, low fences, and rockery caves in the garden. There are 48 scenic spots in total. The layout is compact and wins by cleverness. Although some buildings no longer exist, you can still see the ingenious conception of the entire garden.
