During this workshop, children will first learn how to build and put together a wooden planter with a hammer and nails, and will then have the opportunity to complete their traps using various spring-themed crafting materials, including acrylic paint, felt flowers, butterfly and ladybug embellishments, colorful ribbon and lots of other crafty options. Each participant will also be given a packet of seeds with their planters! We will be on hand to guide the children through the crafting process, ensuring that each child leaves with a one-of-a-kind creation to set up proudly at home. One of the most anticipated events is the 5th Annual Santa Maria del Popolo Run-Walk, taking place on September 7, 2025, at the beautiful USML Mundelein Seminary, located at 1000 Maple Ave, Mundelein, IL 60060.
