Moorforge are proud to announce we will be hosting Moorforge Folk Festival with Folk artist Johnny Campbell , on 4th and 5th July 2025, which focuses on Folk music, Folklore, Traditional music & crafts with workshops. Join us in the unique space that is Moorforge, a reconstructed Viking settlement complete with forge and longhouse, in the shadow of England’s highest mountains, nestled between the Solway coast and the Lake District. The booked musical line-up will be announced shortly with Folk artists from the length and breadth of Britain. Expect fires, Folk tales, intimate Folk Music performances, workshops, folklore, starry skies, Folk sessions and camping on the site of Moorforge, in the wilds of North-West Cumbria with views across the Solway Firth to Scotland. We are a fair pay festival and we run on the generosity of those who support the event through ticket sales, to maintain the Moorforge site and wellbeing of artists and organisers.
