The hike will start at the Locust Grove Parking Lot at 10:15 am and cover a distance of approximately 5 miles, depending on weather and trail conditions. The terrain consists of hiking trails with some elevation, making it a moderately challenging experience. Don't worry if you're new to hiking, as Risa will have a few hiking poles available to share. In addition to enjoying the beautiful nature and history of the reservation, there will also be a group party in Millburn. More details about the party will be shared via email at a later date. Some parts of the trails may be muddy or rocky, so be prepared. Children who can walk the distance are welcome to join with their parent/guardians, but please leave strollers, bicycles, and other wheels at home.
