SWEAT FOR A CAUSE 2025 MISSION: Join us for our 4th annual community fundraiser event on Saturday, April 19th! One of our core beliefs at Wolf Heart Fit Co. is that 'Movement is Medicine'. For the past 4 years we have made it our mission to make an impact in the Healing and Mental Health space. What started in 2021 as a small workout event raising funds for a national anti-sexual violence organization ( RAINN ); has now evolved into creating our own 'Wolf Heart Fund' to provide therapy/counseling directly to the youth of our community who are struggling with the impacts of abuse/trauma. As a lot of you may know, asking for help can be one of the most difficult first steps to healing. That task can seem even more impossible as a child/teen, especially if they are coming from a household that doesn’t communicate well, lacks support, is causing the abuse, and/or is low income and lacks the resources to seek help. We have partnered up with a local organization ( KZTA ) to serve the Puyallup, Orting, Sumner Bonney Lake, White River, and Shelton school districts to provide therapy/counseling to students in need. KZTA will be working closely with school counselors to help connect with students in need of mental health support and apply the “Wolf Heart Fund“ to cover the cost of therapy. By connecting with school counselors, it creates an opportunity for students to receive help without having to open up and ask for it. This agency has agreed to lower the cost of their visits to $50/session to ensure we are able to help as many students as possible, for as long as possible. In addition to that, they have agreed to continue seeing students who start therapy under the Wolf Heart Fund, even after the fund is depleted. HOW IT WORKS: This years event will start bright and early! There will be 4 different event times to choose from. Check-In will take place at The Platform by Salon Ish , 30 minutes prior to your ticket start time! At Check-In, there will be Alani to energize you for the day ahead and optional Braids & Glitter! You will then be walked over to Wolf Heart Fit Co. to begin your 90 minute SWEAT FOR A CAUSE workout! This workout will have 3 parts: Cardio, Strength, and a Mobility Cool Down.
