He holds a Diploma in Public Art from RMIT and a Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) from the Victorian College of the Arts. Rus has been exhibiting his work since 1991 and has the distinction of being the first Australian street artist to paint in the National Gallery of Victoria. Notably, he was a finalist in Australia's prestigious Blake Prize in 2018 and recently showcased a monumental lenticular multi-media backlit digital artwork at the newly opened W Hotel in Melbourne.
