Join the Social Run - Newby Bridge, a monthly event held on the 25th of each month. On January 25th, 2024, the run will take place at the High Dam Loop, starting at 6:45pm. Participants are requested to gather at The Swan Hotel & Spa at 6:30pm. The run covers a distance of 4-6 miles, predominantly on trails. Routes will be shared via email prior to the event, so please check your junk folder. Although the run is mainly off-road, meeting locations have been chosen to facilitate public transport access. The X6 bus from Ulverston & Kendal arrives in time for the start. All levels of runners are welcome, and regular stops will be made to regroup. It is advisable to bring a head torch, trail shoes, and waterproofs. Please note that this is a volunteer-led event, and the community, organizers, and hosts accept no responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or losses related to the run or travel to the event.
