Tadaa!! Daar zijn ze weer! Op woensdag 9 oktober om 14u stelt Hetty van Aar met trots haar boek ‘Max en Millie: Tsjing! Boem! Retteketet!’ voor in Kessels Museum (Tilburg). In hun derde boek krijgen Max en Millie muzikale buren. Samen met hen leren ze zelf liedjes maken zoals ‘Tsjing boem retteketet, we gaan nog niet naar bed’. Maar ze gaan ook naar zee en spelen met hun vriendjes op het plein. Kortom, er zit muziek in het nieuwe voorleesboek van Max en Millie. Daarom presenteren we het tijdens de Nederlandse kinderboekenweek in het Kessels Museum (Tilburg). Thema van de kinderboekenweek is Lekker eigenwijs en dat is op het lijf geschreven van Max en Millie. De thema’s en onderwerpen van deze korte verhalen en gedichten leunen dicht aan bij de leefwereld van kleuters. Dus iedereen vanaf 3 jaar is van harte welkom. Oh ja, kinderen mogen hun ouders meebrengen. Fijn nieuws: Dansmakers Simon Bus en Alesya Dobysh nemen DansBrabant over. Of in ieder geval gedurende één dag in november. Simon en Alesya zijn naast partners in het leven ook partners in de kunst, waarin ze elkaar voortdurend inspireren. Komend uit een hiphopdansachtergrond hebben ze een eigen bewegingsvocabulaire ontwikkeld voor hun voorstellingen. In hun werk zie je losgetrokken elementen uit straat- en clubdansstijlen terug, waaronder house dance, jazz fusion en breaking, met invloeden uit de beeldende kunst en performance. Tijdens de TAKE-OVER presenteren ze in alle hoeken en gaten van Club SoDa, het pand van DansBrabant in Tilburg, fragmenten van stukken waar ze momenteel aan werken.
