The 2023 C.O.W. Cup - Hickory Golf tournament is set to take place on October 14th and 15th at the picturesque Lake Shastina Golf Resort in Weed, California. This year, the event will see a thrilling battle between the golfers from California, Oregon, and Washington. The Barbarians of the Northwest are determined to reclaim their glory after last year's defeat to the Southern Army of Niblick Wielders. With California currently leading the series 3-2, the tension is high as the teams gear up for this exciting showdown.

The tournament will kick off on Saturday, October 14th, with tee times starting at noon. The format for the day will be Chapman, where teams of two players will hit tee shots and then play second shots using their partner's tee shots. After both players' second shots, the team will select one ball to complete the hole using an alternate shot format.

On Sunday, October 15th, tee times will start at 9:00 am. The format for the day will be Four Ball & Singles Combined, where two teams of two players will compete against each other in a four-ball match play competition. Additionally, a singles match of one vs one will run concurrently.

To participate in this thrilling tournament, sign up early as the field is limited to 28 players. The cost includes green fees of $49+tax each day, plus a $20 tournament fee to cover tee prizes and awards. All payments will be made at the course.

For accommodation, the Lake Shastina Golf Resort offers townhouse units with two queen beds. Room rates are $149 (includes tax) per night. Larger units with four queen beds are also available at $298 (includes tax) per night. Remember to book your reservations early to secure your spot.

This place is famous. If you are from the south, I suggest you go and see it. After all, it is a world of ice. Take a special snow car. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the glacier. It is sunny and windy on the glacier. Wear more clothes. The service area under the glacier is very good. There are food and drinks. You can see the distant view of the glacier while drinking coffee. It is very comfortable. There are also tourist commodities.
