About BoA

BoA, also known by many as the Queen of K-pop, made her official debut in 2000. After releasing Korean music, she also subsequently made her foray into the Japanese music market. A few years later in 2008, she also made her debut in the United States under SM Entertainment USA. To date, BoA has quite a number of brain-washing hits. Take for example Atlantis Princess (2003), No. 1 (2002) and more. Most of these songs have also been widely covered and remixed by various younger K-pop stars. And this just goes to show her influence in the industry.

BoA recently celebrated her 24th debut anniversary on 25 August 2024. The 37-year-old singer-songwriter and actress’s most recent original music release is her 10th Korean digital single ‘Emptiness’ in March 2024. BoA’s 2024 ‘One’s Own’ Asia tour will kick-off with two shows in at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in South, South Korean on October 12 and 13. In the same month, the singer will also perform at the Basket Hall GBK Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia. In the following month, BoA will bring her 2024 ‘One’s Own’ Asia tour to Taipei and Singapore for one-night-only concerts at the NTU Sports Center 1F and The Star Theatre, respectively. It is currently unclear if more dates will be announced for the tour. According to a press release from SM Entertainment, BoA’s tour will include a setlist that will showcase her “all-time legend” discography in one go, “including a parade of colourful hit songs as well as performance songs that showcase her unique dance moves”.
