TARCOG’s Alabama Cares Program is proud to present the 9th Caregiver College. This is a free, one-day conference designed to 
educate, empower, and elevate
 family and professional caregivers. Join 300+ peers, experts, and community partners for practical workshops, hands-on caregiver labs, and a robust resource expo—so you leave with tools you can use the very next day.
Our 
Alabama Cares Program
 supports caregivers across five North Alabama counties with respite, acess assistance,  supplemental support, and education. This signature event aligns with the 
4Ms Framework
 of Age-Friendly Care—
What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility
—to put the caregiver’s real-world needs at the center.

Family caregivers supporting an older adult or person with disabilities
Kinship/relative caregivers and grandfamilies
Social workers, nurses, nursing home administrators

Community partners, aging-services professionals, and anyone seeking practical strategies and resources

 Goal-setting, care planning, advocacy, navigating appointments, home setup for safe discharges
