For qualifying purposes, you may use a total from the old weight classes and enter either one class up or down. For example, if a W40, 81kg (old weight class) weighed 80.25 and totaled 135, she may enter as a 77kg or 86kg for Pan Ams. At the 2025 Pan American Masters Men Weightlifting Championship, the 80% rule will be enforced. Your starting attempts must be within 80% of the qualifying total. Proof of Entry: In the event of a dispute regarding the timely submission of the Entry Form, all lifters must have proof of having entered the event. Please note this a DRUG TESTED event. By entering this event, you acknowledge and consent to be drug tested according to IMWA protocols. Eligibility: All master lifters properly registered with their respective National Masters Program who are at least 35 years of age on or before December 31, 2025. New this year, age 30-34 athletes are eligible to compete- no qualifying totals applied to this age group. Participants must show proof of age and of current registration in their respective National Weightlifting Federation at the time of weigh-in Age Groups. Photo ID is required at weigh in. ALL non USA athletes must present a valid passport at weigh in. Venue: Crowne Plaza, Baton Rouge, LA Book Hotel Here: Rate is $129/night plus fees. Code is WLC.
