Join men of all ages in discussing the housing needs and visions of Berkshire's queer community. The Q-MoB organization has received numerous concerns about the rising costs of rent and housing in the Berkshires, which are affecting the ability of younger, older, and low-income members to find stable and affordable housing. This is why we are hosting the Berkshire Queer Housing Creative Solutions Forum, where we will explore the needs and visions of queer men for affordable housing. We will also delve into practical steps that individuals and the community can take to pursue these housing goals. The forum will address both short-term and long-term needs, considering the perspectives of both renters and owners, as well as younger and older men, and those with varying income levels. Our aim is to foster inter-generational collaboration and diversity among queer men in the Berkshires. If you are unable to attend the forum, we still encourage you to fill out our brief survey on queer housing to help us better understand the housing priorities of our community. The event will take place at the Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield's Public Library, located at 1 Wendell Avenue, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Admission is free, so don't miss out on this valuable opportunity to contribute to the discussion on queer housing solutions.
