Congratulations to all athletes who have been invited to participate in the prestigious 4th Annual All Bowl Senior Showcase event, known as ALL OUT BOWL 4. This highly anticipated game will take place on January 13, 2024, at the renowned East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park, California. ALL OUT BOWL 4 offers a unique opportunity for athletes to showcase their talent in front of college recruiters. Throughout the practices and on game day, recruiters will be present to evaluate your performance. Additionally, the game will be broadcasted online, providing further exposure to potential recruiters. Coached by Monty Gibreath from Gardena High School and Corey Thedford from Hawthorne High School, both esteemed coaches in their respective leagues, this game promises to be an incredible experience. But the benefits of ALL OUT BOWL 4 extend beyond just the game. Each athlete will have the chance to participate in a Showcase that will be shared with major college programs nationwide. This exposure to D1-FBS, D1-FCS, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO programs can open doors to the next level of your athletic career. To secure your spot in this prestigious event, be sure to complete the registration process promptly. The cost for this unforgettable experience is $75, with a $50 deposit due by December 27th and the final payment by January 11th. Leading up to the game, practices will be held from January 2nd to January 12th, ensuring that all players are well-prepared. The final walk-thrus will take place on January 12th. Please note that there are limited roster spots available, with only 35-40 athletes per team. We are particularly interested in players who can excel in multiple positions. To ensure a seamless experience, we kindly ask all players to come prepared with their own helmet, mouthpiece, shoulder pads, and any additional equipment they may require. QBs and kickers should also bring their own balls. Trainers will be present at the game site, offering taping services, but athletes must bring their own tape. Additionally, players are required to provide their own medical insurance, although additional coverage can be purchased if needed. We value the academic success of our athletes, and to further support your future endeavors, we have partnered with MBA Sports. They will provide a prospect questionnaire that will be shared with college coaches, answering any initial inquiries they may have. We encourage all athletes to complete this questionnaire. For any further inquiries, please reach out to the coach who sent you the invitation or contact us via email at aosocalelite@gmail.com. ALL OUT BOWL 4 is an opportunity you don't want to miss. We look forward to seeing you at East Los Angeles College on January 13, 2024, for this highly anticipated event.

Utilizing somatic memory and archival research, Aguila reflects on the impact of the 1524 decree by Hernán Cortés, Ordenanzas de buen gobierno (“Ordinances of Good Governance”), tracing 500 years of the Mission grape’s historical ties to religious conversion and the subjugation of Indigenous peoples. This immersive installation presents newly commissioned artworks that foster reflection, healing, and dialogue about the legacies of Spanish colonialism in Los Angeles and across North America. Artworks include ceramic sculptures resembling 500-year-old goblet vines, linens stained with ink made from Mission grapes, and infrasound recordings and video footage recorded across historically significant Missions and wine sites in Guanajuato, Alta California, and the Baja California peninsula. Together, these elements recontextualize histories of agriculture, religion, and nation-building, illuminating the power of art to address historical erasure and reinterpret narratives about Latinx and Indigenous cultures.
