Join Blue Zones Project and the Salinas Regional Soccer Complex for the FIRST Soccer Complex clean-up of the year! This community service opportunity is a chance for individuals to come together, have fun, and make a positive impact. The clean-up will take place at the Salinas Soccer Complex located at 1440 Constitution Blvd, Salinas, CA 93905. Volunteers are asked to arrive between 4:30PM and 6PM and can park in the designated parking lot. Once parked, simply walk towards the concession stand to check in and receive validated parking passes. To ensure your comfort during the clean-up, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes, as well as a hat or sunscreen for sun protection. Bringing a trash picker and plastic gloves is also encouraged, along with a bottle of water to stay hydrated. REACH Art is a program specifically designed to support youth with disabilities. This inclusive art program is open to children and young adults of all ability levels, aged 7 and up. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the fundamentals of art with a holiday twist, including color, composition, brushwork, technique, and perspective. Each day, participants will create a new masterpiece on canvas, building on the techniques they have learned throughout the program. The program will be held for four consecutive days, starting on Tuesday, December 5th, and ending on Friday, December 8th. The sessions will run from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm each day.
