In the Figurative Design Workshops hosted by Jeannie McGuire, participants are nurtured and inspired to produce their own unique masterpieces. With the use of the Gelli plate, a relatively new and inexpensive tool, artists can produce high-quality prints using materials commonly found in their studios. This technique-based class focuses on teaching participants how to create bands of color and texture, enhance prints through stencils, stamping, and drawing, and apply finishing touches with glazing and sink work.
