Be the first inside the 2025 Halifax Oddities & Curiosities Show, a curated market of more than 65 eclectic vintage & artisan vendors featuring the odd, obscure, strange & unusual. Odd Squad members get special entry to the show TWO HOURS in advance of the general public. That’s right — you get in at 9am! Two hours before the show opens to general public. The EXCLUSIVE ODD SQUAD time is 9:00am–11:00am — but your ticket is valid for the entire day and YOU CAN STAY AS LONG AS YOU WANT, up until closing time at 5:00pm. Odd Squad members can browse the show in a less crowded environment and have first crack at unique items. You get to be ‘an insider’ before the real chaos begins. TICKETS ARE LIMITED! $20 per person. With great fun, comes great responsibility: before you buy, know what’s required of you: FIND THE VENUE : The show will take place in the Main Arena at Halifax Exhbition Centre, 200 Prospect Road, Halifax, NS B3T 1P2. Only 10 minutes from downtown! SHOW ENTRY: You must PRINT & PRESENT your valid Odd Squad ticket for scanning at the door for entry to the show. IMPORTANT: ODD SQUAD ENTRY IS BETWEEN 9AM and 9:30AM! ARRIVE EARLY. NO LATECOMERS. You MUST arrive on site for entry between 9am and 9:30am. Better to arrive a bit early. If you’re perpetually late, you’re not cut out for this squad of oddity hunters. GATHERING SPOT: please look for the "ODD SQUAD LINE-UP" sign on one of the doors at the venue's main entrance, and line up there. Our staff will be be there to meet you starting at 9am, until 9:30am. IF RAINING: the line-up will be inside the building away from bad weather. ONCE INSIDE: please, be respectful of any vendors still setting up. Most vendors will set up on Friday and be ready for you Saturday morning! Some vendors may still be setting up that morning and rushing to put finishing touches on their booths — just ask nicely if they have time for you, and please understand if they ask you to come back shortly. The Nature School (JK - Grade 6) at Claremont Nature Centre is hosting an Open House! The Nature School is a full year forest school program from September to June, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Enroll for 1 or more days a week while attending regular school / home school on other days. We invite families to come and experience what The Nature School is all about: meet the staff, explore our outdoor learning space, enjoy some nature-based activities and toast a marshmallow over our fire.
