NoTanx Freediving offers a weekly training session exclusively for its members at the King Alfred Leisure Centre in Hove. This session provides a great opportunity for members to enhance their freediving skills. If you are not a member of NoTanx, we kindly request that you refrain from booking a members ticket for this session. However, if you are interested in trying out freediving, we have try-out sessions available on Wednesday nights at the Prince Regent Swimming Complex in Brighton. To participate in these sessions, please book a Newbie/try-out ticket and complete the necessary forms, including the Come & Try Medical Statement and NoTanx Liability Release & Assumption of Risk. The Monday session begins with a dry session behind the reception area at around 8.30pm, followed by pool time from 9pm to 10pm. NoTanx believes in breaking down freediving into 10 aspects, each of which can be trained separately. With a total of 42 exercises that cover all 10 aspects, our sessions focus on Yin (soft internal) techniques, awareness, and efficiency. We also have Yang sessions (hard external) that concentrate on monofin technique and flexibility.
