Join the Zeta Alpha chapter of Kappa Delta at Texas Tech for the fourth annual Pickleball Tournament in support of Prevent Child Abuse America and the Children's Advocacy Center. This tournament is the culmination of Shamrock Week 2024, a national Kappa Delta program dedicated to raising funds for child abuse prevention organizations. By participating in this event, you can make a positive impact on the lives of children both locally and nationwide. The tournament will take place at the Texas Tech Recreation Center on the outdoor pursuits pickleball courts. The venue is conveniently located at 3219 Main Street, Lubbock, TX 79409. Parking is available in front of the Texas Tech Kinesiology and Sport Management building or at the Recreation Center. Don't forget to bring your own pickleball paddles, although rentals are available on the bottom floor of the Recreation Center. The winning team from the community bracket will receive a cash prize, while the sorority and fraternity bracket winners will receive a donation to their respective philanthropies along with additional prizes. To participate, a donation is required for entry into the tournament. Please refer to the FAQ section for the specific donation amount for each team entry. Ensure you note your affiliation in the donation. Teams of two are invited to sign up, with only one team member required to complete the sign-up process.
