312 Tango presents the highly anticipated Tango Workshop Weekend featuring the renowned tango artists Noelia Hurtado and Facundo de la Cruz. Taking place in the vibrant city of Chicago from October 27th to October 29th, this event promises an unforgettable experience for all tango enthusiasts.

The workshop weekend will kick off on Friday, October 27th with Class 1, where participants will explore the intricacies of Tango Salon, focusing on individual musicality and identifying different types of accentuation in the music. On Saturday, October 28th, Class 2 will delve into the art of Sacadas and barridas, both linear and circular, in perfect sync with the line of dance. Following that, Class 3 will offer an opportunity to experiment with weight shifts and embellishments while dancing to an offbeat milonga.

In addition to the workshops, participants can look forward to a Saturday Night Milonga and Performance, with the talented DJay Rod setting the perfect ambiance. This special event will provide an opportunity to showcase your newly acquired skills and dance the night away.

The workshops will conclude on Sunday, October 29th with Class 4, focusing on Caminatas, sacadas, and embellishments applied to waltz (Vals). Finally, Class 5 will explore the nuances of Tango Salon, including musical interpretation, phrasing, and pause.

The weather was good, and the view of the water from the window was pleasant. The blue sky and white clouds were a delight. There&#39;s a tilting glass door experience, which might make your palms sweat. Some of the glass at higher points was a bit dirty, but it was still clear enough to see outside.
