After a decade-long hiatus, renowned Mandarin singer Chiang Yu-Heng is finally returning to Singapore. On September 15, 2024 (Sunday), at 8 PM, Chiang Yu-Heng will hold his "Journey of Life Concert" at the Resorts World Ballroom, Resorts World Convention Centre in Sentosa, Singapore. Since his debut, Chiang Yu-Heng has released nearly 34 albums, including personal albums, hit songs, and compilations. Each classic song showcases his enduring charm in the Mandarin music scene. Chiang Yu-Heng officially debuted in 1984 with his first solo album, "孤独之旅". In 1985, he received his first nomination for Best Male Singer at the Golden Voice Awards with the album "但愿长醉",becoming a focal point in the Mandarin music world. In 1989, he released the highly anticipated album "多年以后·再回首",with the title track "再回首" becoming famous after he performed it at the 1991 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, gaining significant fame in China. In November 1992, he won the Best Vocal Album Award at the 3rd Golden Melody Awards with his album "一个人",marking another milestone in his career. In November 2004, he was invited to the United States to attend the 10th Anniversary Gala of the Chinese-language radio station AM1300 in Los Angeles, where he won multiple awards, including "Asia's Most Popular Artist." If roses = romance, then Rose Romance is a full-blown fairytale. Running from 27th June to 20th July 2025, this year’s display takes a cue from the legend of King Arthur, with more than 15,000 roses across 65 varieties filling the Flower Dome and setting the scene for moments from Arthurian legend.

This exhibition offers a new, revealing look at the world-class Portland Collection of art. The museum will be filled to the brim with fascinating art and objects, a giant cabinet of curiosities. There will be silver and tapestry, paintings and jewels; art that has come home after a long loan to a prestigious national gallery, and stunning star items that visitors know and love – such as Michelangelo’s ‘Madonna of Silence’ or the pearl earring worn by Charles I at his execution. A highlight of the display is a Picture Gallery, stacked with Tudor and Jacobean portraits – many of which have never been seen publicly before.

lris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses showcases the work of one of the most visionary fashiondesigners of her generation. A pioneer in her use of technologies, lris van Herpen defiesconventional norms of fashion, blending the traditional with innovative production technigues From micro to macro, this exhibition interrogates the body in space, our identities andpotential futures in a rapidly changing world. Celebrating van Herpen's future-facing andmultidisciplinary approach, this unigue retrospective exhibition incorporates nine themes thatcombine fashion with art, design, sustainability and science. A selection of over 140 looks and accessories by lris van Herpen are placed in dialogue withworks of contemporary art and extraordinary natural history specimens. The Singaporeiteration of the exhibition features local and regional content including artefacts on loan fromthe Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum as well as other contemporary artworks curatedby the ArtScience Museum team.
