Abhishek does kill though, mostly on stage, and has done so at the biggest of stages on the stand-up circuit. Upmanyu covers seemingly everyday topics with insightful and hilarious effects. With his Shatabdi-fast delivery & writing prowess, rap is an alternate career option for Abhishek but he refuses on principal. Interstellar 10 - A concert of music from the film! | Halifax Minster
Jul 4, 2025 (UTC+1)
Halifax
About the concert
It's just over 10 years since the release of the groundbreaking Christopher Nolan blockbuster "Interstellar." It won various accolades, including being nominated for Best Original Score at the Academy Awards. Now is your chance to hear this phenomenal soundtrack played by the original performer on the world-renowned Halifax Minster Organ.
Halifax Minster is hosting a unique concert, as part of its annual Summer Festival, showcasing music from the film. This will be performed by celebrated musician Roger Sayer, the primary organist working alongside Hans Zimmer to create the iconic soundtrack for Interstellar's release in 2014.
Originally recorded in Temple Church in London, Roger collaborated with Zimmer and Nolan to craft the moving score using the power and creativity of the organ. The performance will take place at the extraordinary Halifax Minster organ. This is a special opportunity to experience the incredible soundtrack and celebrate the wonder of space travel and its boundless capabilities.
"ROGER IS, WITHOUT EXAGGERATION, AN EXTRAORDINARY ARTIST, WHOSE HUMANITY SHINES IN THE IMPECCABLE ARTISTRY THAT FLOWS FROM HIS HANDS…" HANS ZIMMER
There will be opportunities to hear Roger reminisce about working with Hans Zimmer as well as the chance for audience members to ask questions about the making of the soundtrack.
An evening of music and visual imagery, the concert is timed to co-incide with dusk to enhance the impact of the music in this historic setting.
In the first half, music includes a performance of the Planet Suite by Gustav Holst, a video featuring Hans Zimmer and a short Q&A
The second half features music from the soundtrack, played on the organ with projected satellite imagery and cameras showing Roger's playing.

Learning with Mi'kma'ki is a new professional development opportunity for early childhood professionals in Nova Scotia.
This training provides an opportunity for participants to see the natural environment, Earth science, sustainability, reciprocity, and interconnectedness, with two eyes — Etuaptmumk (ed-do-up-dm-momk)
. The work represents Mi’kmaw-first voice, with the support and advice of a standing committee.
The 6-hour course is an introduction for Early Childhood Educators to explore their immediate relationship with place and how this knowledge can be integrated in learning environments for Early Learners. The field book, which is a part of the training, requires participants to reflect on knowledge and teachings. It helps guide participants in understanding how they, as members of this place, are to be present and, in turn, how being present can be directly linked to the work of Early Learning and Child Care.
