Long sleeved shirts and pants
Rain gear, insulating layers, sun protection, etc. as appropriate for the weather
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
TKO recognizes that the trails we work on travel through the traditional lands of many Indigenous tribes and communities. We are the most recent in a long line of stewards to this land, and it is our responsibility to do so with humility and respect. We are grateful to these tribes and their descendants for being the original and continuing stewards of these spaces, and encourage everyone to go beyond a land acknowledgment by supporting Indigenous communities and organizations in your area.
ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS:
TKO seeks to make our events inclusive of people of all backgrounds and abilities. If you would like to discuss potential accommodations to allow for your participation in this event, please
click here to complete a short Google survey
. TKO staff will then contact you to discuss options. Please note: available accommodations will vary by event and typically need to be requested a minimum of two weeks in advance. If you have any questions, please contact TKO Stewardship Manager Lindsay McIntosh-Tolle at lindsay.mcintosh@trailkeepersoforegon.org.
EQUITY & INCLUSION:
TKO seeks to make Oregon’s trails a place where people can go to connect with nature & one another. Not everyone feels safe or welcome in the outdoors due to issues like racism, bias, and hate. We commit to being part of the solution to this problem and to enact change. Conduct, speech, or expressions that target any individual or group will not be tolerated by TKO.
PERSONAL SAFETY:
Your physical and emotional safety is our number one priority. If a person’s actions or comments make you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, you may: interrupt directly, tell a crew leader, and/or inform TKO staff via the post-event survey.
While TKO no longer requires masking/vaccination for our events, we do support those who choose to mask for their own safety. We ask participants to respect the health of folks who wear masks by distancing or wearing a mask while in close proximity.

Carolina Children's Charity 2nd Annual Golf Tournament @ Daniel Island Club | Daniel Island Club
Apr 28, 2025 (UTC-4)
Charleston
We are excited to announce that Carolina Children’s Charity will hold it's second annual Golf Tournament on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Daniel Island Club. The Daniel Island Club is a private club and features 36 holes that weave through a Lowcountry landscape of saltwater marsh, tidal creeks and waterways. Designed by Tom Fazio, the Beresford Creek Course opened in 2000, followed by the Ralston Creek Course designed by Rees Jones, which opened in 2006.
Monies raised at this golf tournament will help CCC continue to be an invaluable resource in our community. With no state, federal or national support, we rely solely on the support of our wonderful community, sponsors, businesses, organizations, volunteers and firefighters. CCC is there for children and their families when gaps are left by private insurance or subsidized programs, a child is not covered by any program, the family has no medical insurance, or no one else can help. With rising healthcare costs, Medicaid and private insurance cutbacks, agency cutbacks producing more limited resources and inadequate insurance coverage for most of the children we serve, our priority and focus is to raise enough money so that we can be the answer to children with birth defects and childhood diseases when no one else can help. Through our grants, the Charity provides families with what they need on a daily basis to ensure that their child or children can reach optimal health and development. CCC is about local people helping local children. Our unique Charity helps reduce the financial burden to families when their child has medical needs that they can’t meet without our support.

Match Made In Charleston | The Peacock
Apr 24, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
Charleston
Join us at The Peacock Thursday, April 24th for the premier dating event in Charleston for ages 25-40. Prior to the event or upon arrival, guests will fill out a quick survey, developed by psychologists, about what is important to them and in a potential partner.
*Please read the full description and FAQs to get a better sense of the event!
Matching will be powered by Matchbox
. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find your most compatible match at the party. It’s also the same technology behind the Marriage Pact, tradition at 100+ universities that's matched more than half a million people to date.
How it works:
You’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox's team of relationship scientists.
The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal matches (up to 3) at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.
After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!
Ticket Includes:
Drink specials, light bites, and the matching experience.
Who it’s for:
The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind!
If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.
Recommended for ages between 25-40.
Event Structure:
This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time.
7:00pm—The event begins, bar opens.
7:30pm—Doors close. You must complete the questionnaire by this time. The Algorithm begins computing matches.
7:45pm—You will receive the first clue.
8:00—Your first match is revealed.
8:30pm—Your second match is revealed.
9:00pm—Your third match is revealed.
