Sneaker Conversations
and unforgettable moments on the main stage.
We expanded into
Sneaker Con Hoops
, turning amateur basketball into viral sensations, and in 2017, we went international—touching down in London, Hong Kong, Australia, and beyond. In 2025, our global tour expands with stops in Japan, Mexico City, Seoul, and other surprise destinations!
Over the years, we've collaborated with industry icons like Jeff Staple, A Bathing Ape, Crocs, and more, designing over 500 products. And there’s so much more to come in 2025!

About the Book:
This fascinating biography recounts the life and legacy of a titan of American banking, Louis Graveraet Kaufman (1870–1942). Also known as LG, he was a Gatsbyesque figure born in Michigan's Upper Peninsula who married into great wealth and then amassed far more of his own.
Under LG, New York's Chatham Phenix National Bank and Trust Company became one of the nation's largest banks and the first in New York to boast a network of branches. When he was denied entry into the exclusive, Protestant, old-money Huron Mountain Club, LG responded by building his own retreat: the world's largest log lodge, a 26,000-square-foot behemoth near Marquette, Michigan. Christened Granot Loma, it became the site of lavish Prohibition-era parties, attracting many celebrities who came in private rail cars to enjoy jazz and liquor chez Kaufman.
A darling of the press, LG became a household name, making news by coordinating the famous takeover of General Motors in 1916, narrowly escaping death in the Wall Street Bombing of 1920, and financing the Empire State Building during the Great Depression. Author Ann Berman highlights Kaufman's remarkable journey from "barefoot boy" to trailblazing branch banking giant, proving LG was not just a man of his time but one worth reading about over a century later.
Once one of the most innovative and influential financiers in the country, Louis Graveraet Kaufman has been almost entirely forgotten—until now. Ann Berman's extraordinary research and narrative skills bring long-deserved recognition to this unlikely figure's remarkable life. ~Daniel Okrent, author of The Guarded Gate and Last Call

Hempcrete Workshop + Spray Application Demo | North End
Jun 1, 2025 (UTC-4)ENDED
Detroit
Day Two of Hempcrete Workshops focusing on Spray application methods.
Reccomended for home owners, builders, archetects, engineers, students and anyone interested in learning about building with hemp.
Learn about the EREASY system followed by a practical application on a tiny home. Participents will help mix hempcrete, feed it into the machine and help shovel rebound back onto the hemp table, along with watching licensed technicians spray the walls. If you are interested in training to become a spray technician yourself, training is available through Cameron McIntosh at Americhanvre. Participents will rotate through stations allowing for breaks but spray application is a fast paced method and requires a certain amount of physical stamina. Part of the workshop will be hand cast to allow everyone an opportunity to be hands on with the installation.
The day starts with coffee and bagels during a lecture providing essential knowledge needed for the day's workshop, will take a break for lunch prepared by a local chef, then will be followed by a demo of the materials, leading into hands-on participation to construct a wall of the tiny home. Lunch and proper PPE will be provided, please let us know of any food allergies ahead of time. Wear closed toe shoes, long sleeve shirts and pants to protect from materials. We will be working outside, so in case of heavy rain/bad weather, event will take place the following weekend, Sunday June 8th
