The Jeongwol-gil Festival is a traditional cultural festival held on the 15th day of the first lunar month every year in the area of Yeongwol-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan. The Songdo Moon House Festival inherits the unique tradition of Songdo and hopes that the residents of Songdo will be harmonious, happy and healthy. It is hosted by the Songdo Cultural Festival Committee and held at Songdo Beach on the full moon night of the 15th day of the first lunar month every year. The Songdo Moon House Festival has been held since 2000 with the aim of dispelling the bad luck of the past year and welcoming good luck in the new year. The Songdo Moon House Festival begins with the Samsung Festival in Janggon County, Anam-dong, followed by a roadshow, an intangible cultural heritage blessing performance and a moon worship ceremony. The opening ceremony will be held at 6 pm on a special stage at the Baeksan Beach. The highlight is the burning of the Moon House, where the Moon House with blessings and wishes will be burned, and the scene is very spectacular. Various traditional games will also be held in each building, and visitors can also participate in making rice cakes and traditional games on site. In addition, there are various interesting activities to add fun and excitement to the festival.
