Join Kelsey Lensman on September 10th, 2023, at Owenhouse Cycling in Bozeman, Montana, for a 25k bike event as part of Mission48, a women empowerment initiative. This event is the 10th stop in Montana and is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. The event is completely free, but registration is required due to limited capacity. Bob Schnabel is the Montana State Sponsor, and Owenhouse Cycling is hosting Kelsey and Mission48.
The event will start at 10a MST, with participants advised to arrive at 9:30a for warm-ups and a briefing on the biking route. The 25k bike route covers 15.5 miles with an elevation of 400-500ft. It is rated as moderate difficulty and has a 4.6-star rating. There are also scalable options available for intermediate and beginner levels.
In addition to the bike event, there is an opportunity to walk one mile with Denise, a member of the M48 road team, or run/jog one mile with Kelsey's Dad, Todd. They will be completing a mile in every state during Mission48.
Mission48 aims to inspire girls and women to step out of their comfort zones and build true self-confidence. Kelsey will be completing 48 fitness competitions in 48 states in 48 days, while bringing awareness to the ROX charity, which teaches self-confidence, body image, and leadership skills to young girls.
