This special event brings together the renowned Seiichi Tanaka & San Francisco Taiko Dojo, along with guest performers Wako Daiko, to honor Tanaka Sensei's remarkable contributions. As we commemorate 55 years of thunderous Japanese ensemble drumming in North America, we acknowledge the pivotal role played by Grandmaster Seiichi Tanaka in introducing this mesmerizing art form to our continent. Stanford Taiko, representing the newest generation of North American taiko players, is privileged to join forces with Tanaka Sensei and the San Francisco Taiko Dojo (SFTD) for this momentous occasion. Additionally, we are honored to have Wako Daiko, hailing from Japan, join us to pay tribute to Sensei's ambassadorship and unwavering dedication to the North American taiko community. This extraordinary gathering will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the esteemed Dinkelspiel Auditorium in Stanford, California. We invite you to witness the electrifying performance by these taiko virtuosos, as we embark on a new chapter of taiko in North America – another 55 years of captivating rhythms and cultural exchange.

In San Francisco, nature retains this ancient transportation, and it is reserved in the city center. There is such a section of the track of the tuk-tuk near Union Square. It is still operating normally, but it is almost a tourist project. This old-fashioned tuk-tuk is open, and if you are bold, you can also experience a &quot;open external&quot; ride, flying on the road in downtown San Francisco. Moreover, Powell Streer is a sloped road, and it is quite exciting to take a tuk-tuk. The tuk tuk is very popular, you have to queue up to take a long time. If you don&#39;t want to spend time, you can also take some tourists photos on the empty car parked on the side.

It is called the North Beach or &quot;Little Italy&quot; near Chinatown, a popular neighborhood in San Francisco with Italian heritage. It is also a popular place for Italian Americans. Here you can find many traditional Italian restaurants and cafes, grocery stores and bars. We enjoyed walking around this area and discovering different shops and buildings. We ate authentic seafood at Italian restaurant Sotto Marie. Great area.

This is a relatively large park near the Golden Gate Bridge, called Golden Gate Park. General tourists will not go to this attraction specially, because we are free to travel and can be more relaxed. The park environment design is unparalleled and worth checking in for sightseeing.

Alcatraz Island is a small island located in San Francisco Bay, about 1.25 miles (2 kilometers) offshore from San Francisco, California. It is most famous for the federal penitentiary that operated there from 1934 to 1963.

Lombard Street

Came on September 24, 2017. This attraction is unique, beautiful and interesting, and definitely one of the must-see attractions to visit San Francisco. Jiuqu Flower Street is actually a section of Lombard Street, located between Hyde Street and Leavenworth Street. This section is a steep slope, but it is designed to be eight hairpin bends, and the road is full of flowers. If you need to shoot the effect of Jiuqu, you must stand at the low position of Leavenworth Street. Chinese people can drive by themselves in the western United States where San Francisco is located. If you will drive in San Francisco, you may wish to experience the feeling of driving through Jiuquhua Street.
