RecRock is holding a showcase event to celebrate the success of the RDP project, which has taken place all over Caerphilly in rural areas such as New Tredegar, Rhymney and Caerphilly. There will be case studies shown, selected performances from group members who have contributed to an album of original material. The event will culminate in a mass group performance by attendees from all over Caerphilly will take place. We anticipate the event to run from 1-3. We have been working all year to create music based activities to reduce social isolation in communities. We have done this by forming community music groups in active community centres around the county. We have been using digital skills to develop employability and confidence in attendees.
