The Maryland Wear & Carry Course (CCW) is an essential training program for individuals seeking a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. This comprehensive course, hosted by Engage Armament LLC, is a prerequisite for obtaining the permit. It is important to note that this is a two-day event, and attendance on both days is mandatory. The classroom portion of the course satisfies the requirements set by the state of Maryland. To fulfill the 16-hour requirement needed for the permit, participants must complete both the classroom and range components of the course. Once the full 16 hours have been completed, a certificate will be awarded. While the course covers the fundamentals of handguns, firearm usage, and Maryland firearm law, it also delves into more advanced topics such as ballistics, firearm selection, carry considerations, and vehicle considerations. Prior firearm experience is recommended, and individuals with no prior experience are encouraged to contact us before registering. Please be advised that a minimum of 6 students is required for the class to proceed as scheduled. In case of lower attendance, the class may be postponed.
