Welcome to the Sartell Monster Dash 5K & 1K, a thrilling event presented by Deters Fitness. This exciting race will kick off and culminate at the esteemed Sartell Community Center in Sartell, Minnesota. Participants can choose between two exhilarating races, a 5K and a 1K, both promising a memorable experience. The festivities will commence on October 28th, 2023, with early arrival possible from 7:45 AM. The 5K race will officially commence at 9 AM, taking participants on a picturesque route around the Sartell Area before concluding back at the community center. But who exactly were those individuals and how successful were they? Along with recounting the lost history of the solitary Welsh gymnast who witnessed the chaos of the 1900 Olympics, this talk will also look at the trials and tribulations of the nine Welshmen who competed for medals when the games returned to the banks of the river Seine, just under a quarter of a century later. Learn the basics of canoeing and stand up paddle boarding in a safe environment on the Rochdale canal. We will teach various techniques to control the crafts, basic safety and even play some games on the water. Participantes will receive a paddle start award certificate via email upon completion of the day. Please wear appropriate clothing and be prepared for any weather. Softball Clinic with Illinois D1 Athletes This event is hosted byTop Tier Lessons,an online platform that matches student athletes with parents in the community looking for sports lessons. Top Tier Lessons was created by a former Illinois student athlete and can be found at https://toptierlessons.com for lessons in swimming, softball, basketball and baseball with more sports coming soon! The first hour of the clinic will be drill and skill work in small groups. Participants will be grouped by age and ability with the instruction personalized for each group. The next 30 minutes will consist of a teamwork game where all participants come together to have some fun! The last 30 minutes will be an open hangout and autograph signing with our Illinois softball athletes.
