Join the Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens for a FREE Tai Chi class on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 9:00am. Led by experienced instructor Darrell Fogan, owner of Metro Wellness Institute Inc., this class offers a unique opportunity to learn and practice Tai Chi in a small group setting.
Tai Chi is a meditative martial art known for its health benefits and ability to assist in overcoming medical challenges. Whether you are a beginner or have previous experience, this class is designed to cater to all levels. The event will take place at the picturesque Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, located at 1550 Anacostia Avenue Northeast, Washington, DC 20019. Participants will meet at the picnic area past the visitor center. Getting there is convenient, with ample parking available at the park entrance on Anacostia Ave. If you prefer public transportation, the Deanwood Metro Station and Minnesota Ave Station on the Orange Line are nearby. Additionally, the park can be accessed by foot or bike via the Anacostia River Trail.
