Crowden Horseshoe: Black Hill & Laddow Rocks Guided Trail Run - 9 miles Join Finding The Fells for a mixed terrain run of the Crowden Horseshoe. This is a shorter route but still has some steep inclines to get your legs burning. Ideal for: any runners capable of running the full distance (this event isn't aimed at beginner runners). Pace will be sociable with plenty of pausing to admire the views. The first half of this route can be quite wet and boggy a lot of the time, so expect wet feet regardless of the weather! Distance & Elevation: 9 miles /1,600ft Terrain: Rocky trails, wet moorland, flagstone paths and some short rocky descents. Required kit: off road/grippy running shoes essential, along with buff, waterproof jacket, snacks, water and any personal meds and running pack. Dry socks/footwear for the finish recommended.
