Join the Texas Brewery Running Series™ at Breakaway Brewing Company in San Antonio, TX on Saturday, September 30 for a 5k Beer Run. This fun run course offers a great opportunity to enjoy local beer while being active. The event starts at 10AM from the taproom at Breakaway Brewing, San Antonio's newest brewery. Participants can run, walk, or jog the 5k-ish course, which begins and ends at the brewery. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to join in the fun. After crossing the finish line, participants will be able to celebrate with a craft brew from Breakaway Brewing Company. Additionally, they can choose between a collector's pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. Attendees will also have the chance to win door prizes such as Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home. Live music, games, goodies, and giveaways will add to the event festivities. The Texas Brewery Running Series aims to be active, have fun, and give back to the local community. A portion of all proceeds from the events supports local nonprofits, with over $460k raised to date. This particular event will donate 10% of the proceeds to the San Antonio Food Bank, helping to support an important local organization. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donation, which will earn them a ticket for the Hunger Fighters Raffle. Registration for the event is limited, so sign up today to secure your spot. The 5k Beer Run at Breakaway Brewing is an untimed, fun-run open to all levels of walkers, runners, and joggers. Please remember to obey all traffic laws and regulations, as roads will not be closed for the event. The course will be marked with arrows to guide participants. Attendees must bring a valid ID or driver's license and be 21 or older to enjoy the beer. Underage participants will receive a token for a free non-alcoholic beverage. Dogs and strollers are welcome on the course, but please use caution and ensure the safety of your pet or child.
