This event was first held in June 2023 to celebrate the life of Teyan McCoy, who passed away in January 2023. Teyan was a home grown talent from Hammond, IN that had a deep passion for the game of basketball. Teyan's talent was contributed to teams with Edison middle school and Bishop Noll Institute, University of Maryland and University of Texas. The camp was developed to honor Teyan's additional passion of giving back to the community through sharing basketball training with the next generations of talent.
