Blockbuster hits and gorgeous melodies are served up at our aptly named final spring concert of the season. Included on the program are movements from Mussorgsky’s famous Pictures at an Exhibition , Beethoven’s powerful Egmont Overture , the opening from the tone poem Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss, and Price’s Adoration . Guest conductor Myron Peterson will also take the podium for Poelking’s With Eyes Anew. The winner of the Symphony's Young Artist Competition Senior Piano division, Indigo Della Badia, will perform the Piano Concerto #3, Mvmt 1, by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
