Join us at Lakou Cafe for naked. open mic ! What Is It ? naked. is "the open mic without a mic"—a space that celebrates vulnerability through artistic expression and discussion, where art in all forms are welcomed. originally created in New Orleans in February 2018, it is an open mic without a mic, because it allows for a more immersed environment for those sharing their art — one where they can be both heard and felt simultaneously. those who attend are invited to be vulnerable, or naked— free from the armor and masks often worn to navigate the world, in a space that asks: if you could be naked, without judgment, how would you show up, what would you say, what would you share? DOORS 7:30PM | SHOW 8PM Ten Bones Theatre Company is thrilled to be back at littlefield for our next installment of the Entirely From Memory series! Performers will attempt (and most likely fail) to recreate "Star Trek'', without the aid of scripts, rehearsals, or sobriety. All they will have will be their memory, a recent viewing of one episode of one of the many series, and a lot of wigs. How certain are we that they'll succeed? So certain that we're making it harder for them. How certain are we that they'll succeed? So certain that we're making it harder for them. -Performers won't know what role they are playing until they get onstage. -Performers must incorporate lines written by the audience. -Performers must incorporate any sound effects played by the tech booth. -One lucky audience member will be given a horn that they can honk four times. Once honked, the actors must create a deleted scene that has no business being in the movie but makes perfect sense given where they are in the story. Love Star Trek? We got you covered. Never seen it? We got you covered. You think you saw it once and you kind of remember it? You're probably in the show. EFM Performers: Willy Appelman, Eric Austin, Herbert Benjamin, Regina Carregha, Ryan Chittaphong, Thomas Costello, Ben Furnas, Molly Gaebe, Lena Gloria, Claire Gresham, Kyra Jackson, Alexis Lambright, Elizabeth Leimkuhler, Pete McElligott, Nick Piacente, Austin Sanders, Andy Schneeflock, and Scott Thomas!
