Introduction to Outdoor Swimming, Additional Needs An opportunity for anyone with additional needs of any kind with their carer (if appropriate) to come and have a go at outdoor swimming in a safe and relaxed session. This is for people who are new to swimming outdoors and would like to have a go or would like to learn more about doing it safely. No diagnosis is needed, and the sessions are suitable for those with any additional needs including those who experience anxiety. There is no age limit, and the numbers attending will be kept small. There is no pressure to get in the water, and support if you do from qualified lifeguards and experienced swimmer volunteers. Parents or guardians will get in the water with child/children.
