Join the event "Build a Bollington Bear - Macclesfield" at Periwinkle & Clay Creative Studio in Macclesfield. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own Ceramic Bollington Bear with the guidance provided. The workshop is divided into two sessions, taking place on May 5th and May 12th, running from 10:30 am to 1 pm each day. During the sessions, attendees will learn how to form the bear using clay, add features and decorations, fettle and clean up their work, and utilize various decoration techniques. The completed bears will undergo firing and glazing before being ready for collection. No prior experience in ceramics is necessary, and children aged 8 and above are welcome to attend accompanied by an adult. Each ticket costs £70 and includes all materials and guidance. Everybody Health & Leisure is excited to announce the upcoming small Inclusive Cycling sessions for disabled young people to stay active. These sessions cater specifically to children who may face challenges with traditional two-wheeled bikes, offering a variety of adapted bikes for them to enjoy. The inclusive nature of the sessions allows for all participants to engage in cycling with the assistance of Everybody staff. Please be advised that the Inclusive Cycling sessions scheduled for 19th May will be held indoors in the sportshall at Macclesfield Leisure Centre due to an event on the athletics track. Each session will accommodate a maximum of 6 participants aged between 4 to 17 years old, with helmets provided on-site. However, attendees are welcome to bring their own helmets if they prefer.
