FOR THE CULTURE HBCU Dance Competition, hosted by the F.C. Diamond Elite Dance Team, is a highly anticipated event that aims to showcase and honor the incredible dancelines of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). On Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 1:00 pm, this exhilarating competition will take place at the prestigious Fairfield Central High School Gymnasium in Winnsboro, South Carolina.
Bringing together teams from various HBCUs, the competition will feature four combined categories: HBCU Parade, HBCU Field Show, 32 Counts, and HBCU Stands in Stands. To ensure a fair and impartial judging process, qualified judges with extensive backgrounds and experience in HBCU dance will be present. Additionally, Trin-T Productions will capture the event as the guest videographer.
While masks are not obligatory, their use is strongly encouraged. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our attendees and will provide sanitation stations and masks throughout the venue. The event will be held under tight security measures to maintain a secure and pleasant environment, making it suitable for families. Please note that the Clear Bag Policy will be enforced.
To secure your attendance, we offer advance tickets priced at $15 until April 6, 2024. After that, general admission tickets will be available for $20 until April 27, 2024. In case of availability, tickets can also be purchased at the door for $25. Please be advised that there are no refunds unless the event is canceled.

The competition will host teams competing in four combined categories: HBCU Parade, HBCU Field Show, 32 Counts and HBCU Stands in Stands. The competition will have qualified judges with backgrounds and experience in HBCU dance as either a dancer, coach or sponsor. Security will be strictly enforced.
