Scottish band Ceithir will play live music and shout out the dance steps to keep everyone in line with this fun ceilidh session for all. This is suitable for all ages, for people who've never danced and for people who think they don't like dancing! You'll be dancing in the stunning Banquetting Hall within Barrow's Town Hall and the bar will be open throughout. Similar to folk dancing, line dancing and country dancing, there's nothing complicated about the moves and anyone can have a go. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face and suitable for all ages including children. This follows BarrowFull's Festival of Colours, which ends with the Holi coloured-powder throwing celebrations. So if you're making a night of it and having a meal out in between the daytime events and the ceilidh then bring a change of clothes! Ceithir is a four piece ceilidh band who formed in 2022. All the members are graduates of the University of Glasgow’s prestigious music course.
