From there, you'll embark on a journey to Abbotshall Churchyard, where you'll encounter remarkable memorials that reveal the town's rich history. The tour then continues to the Old Kirk, where a special guided tour will showcase the magnificent stained glass windows. Led by Rosemary Potter of the Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust, this part of the tour promises to be truly captivating. If the weather permits, you'll even have the opportunity to climb the tower for splendid views of the town and coast. The 1.5 mile walk, which mainly follows level pavements and paths, will take approximately 2 hours, including the guided tour inside the Old Kirk. After the tour, head back via the Esplanade and enjoy mince pies and hot drinks at the Greener Kirkcaldy building. Please note that this walk is weather-dependent, and in the event of adverse conditions, the walk may be cancelled.
