Move: In Progress | Saltburn 2024 delivered by Moving Art Management in partnership with TeesDance, is a scratch platform for dance, enabling up to five artists and companies to share their new works in progress in an informal theatre setting. A networking gathering with complimentary refreshments takes place before the event, and a facilitated feedback discussion follows each live performance for artists to gain audience insight regarding the development of their work. This is designed to support dance-makers to test new ideas, platform their work in front of strategic contacts and bring together the Tees Valley and North East’s artist community in a relaxed, supportive environment. Redcar and Cleveland’s Active Travel team offers complimentary health checks for bicycles, assessing their overall condition. Whether your bicycle is a daily commuter or has been sitting unused, the team will conduct a thorough safety inspection, make necessary brake and gear adjustments, inflate tires, and replace inner tubes if you provide a spare. A detailed report on the bike's condition will be provided. You can drop off your bicycle at Redcar Leisure Centre between 10am and 2pm, and it will be ready for collection later in the day. The team does not handle part replacements but can recommend local bike shops for such services. The event will take place at Saltburn Library in Saltburn-by-the-Sea on May 15, 2024.
