The Dales Club Reserve Repack Day, taking place on Sunday 14th Jan 2024 at Ilkley Grammar School's GYMNASIUM, presents an incredible opportunity for attendees to repack their reserve parachutes. Led by renowned expert Guy Richardson, also known as Ginger Nomad, along with a team of qualified assistants, participants will have the chance to repack their reserves during morning and afternoon sessions. The day will kick off with a short presentation before individuals pair up to throw and re-pack their reserves using the hall. It is important to note that this session serves as an oversight for self-repacking and should not be mistaken for a repack carried out by a qualified professional. While instructions will be provided, this is ultimately a do-it-yourself exercise. Alternatively, participants have the option to leave their reserve with one of the qualified packers who will handle the repacking process and provide a certificate. Additional fees may apply for this service, as the reserve will need to be taken away and couriered back. It's worth mentioning that Regallos & Beamers will not be repacked during the event due to their complexity, and reserves older than 10 years will also not be eligible for repacking.
