The Akron Art Library is excited to invite art enthusiasts to its fifth anniversary celebration, the Akron Art Library 5th Anniversary Celebration. This momentous event will take place at the Akron-Summit County Public Library, Main Branch, conveniently located across the street from the Museum. During this special occasion, the Main Branch of the Akron Art Library will showcase six new works from talented artists in Northeast Ohio. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the evening with music provided by DJ Gabe Schray, indulge in light refreshments, and even try their hand at button making. Additionally, guests will have the chance to preview the new works and explore the expanding collection.

Notably, the Akron Art Library is proud to welcome Charisse Harris and Antwoine Washington, two of the featured artists, who will be present at the event. They will engage in a Community Conversation at 7 pm, discussing their works in the Akron Art Library collection and emphasizing the significance of art and collecting in the Akron community.
