Arcadia University Baseball Prospect Camp is set to take place on Saturday, November 11th, 2023. The event will be held at Skip Wilson Field, located at Butler Pike and Woods Drive in Ambler, PA. The camp offers high school students a unique opportunity to experience a college program and receive top-tier instruction from current Arcadia University coaches and athletes. Position players will have the chance to showcase their skills during the event. The day will begin with check-in and registration at 9:30 a.m., followed by a hitting showcase at 10:00 a.m. Participants will then have a lunch break, where they can provide their own meal. The afternoon session will focus on defensive skills, with a showcase at The Dome. Pitchers will also have their own showcase session, starting with check-in and registration at 1:30 p.m. The pitcher showcase will take place at The Dome from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Participants not involved in the pitcher portion can be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. The cost to attend the camp is $75 for position players or pitchers only, and $125 for two-way players. Each participant must be a high school student. The camp will provide a comprehensive overview of college-level baseball, with a focus on both offensive and defensive skills. Chuck Thielmann, the Head Baseball Coach at Arcadia University, will be the camp director. For more information, interested individuals can contact Chuck Thielmann at (732)-673-1187 or via email at thielmannc@arcadia.edu. Registration can be completed online, with payment made prior to the camp. Refunds are available with a $25 administrative fee deducted, as long as the request is submitted in writing prior to the start of the camp session. Participants are advised to have their own medical insurance, and a certified trainer will be available throughout the camp. Snacks and drinks can be brought to camp, but should be easily contained and packaged to avoid spills. Water will be provided. Campers are required to sign in and out each day, and behavior and conduct are expected to be in line with the rules and regulations of Arcadia University.
