Artfully Minded Open Mic and Workshop is an engaging monthly event organized by Athena Project in Denver, Colorado. This extension of the Girls Create program offers a unique opportunity for girls, non-binary, and trans 6th-10th graders to express their artistic talents. The event takes place on the 2nd Monday evening of each month at the Town Hall Collaborative on 525 Santa Fe Drive.
During the 50-minute workshop, participants will receive guidance and instruction from professionals in various artistic disciplines. This month, the talented Kylee Wellons will be leading a poetry workshop, sharing her expertise as a visual and performance artist. Known as Honey B Honest, Kylee is a respected host and organizer at Mercury Cafe's Sunday Night Open Mic and Slam.
After the workshop, the creative journey culminates in an open mic showcase. Workshop participants are invited to share their work, whether it was created during the workshop or from previous projects. Each participant will have 5 minutes to captivate the audience with their unique talent. There are a total of 7 performance spots available.
The event also welcomes other youth girls* to participate in the public Open Mic showcase. The evening begins at 6:30 pm with the workshop, followed by registration for the Open Mic at 7:25 pm. The showcase itself starts at 7:35 pm and wraps up at 8:45 pm.
Artfully Minded Open Mic and Workshop encourages the community, including friends and family of the participants, to join and experience the incredible work being showcased. This is an opportunity to witness the power of art in promoting healing, motivation, and self-care. Best of all, admission is free, so mark your calendars for this inspiring event on October 9, 2023!

I heard it was small at first, so I didn&#39;t have high expectations. But I really liked it when I went there. I saw a lot of small animals, such as seahorses, sea otters, clown fish (Nemo), jellyfish, and sharks. DOWNTOWN AQUARIUM is actually quite interesting. It&#39;s worth a visit. I didn&#39;t see the tiger, probably because he was lazy and went to sleep. I used a discount coupon and it was 10% cheaper.
