This event is suitable for all ages and aims to support Indy Reads' adult and family programs. J. Brent Bill is a Quaker minister, retreat leader, writing coach, photographer, and writer. With numerous books, including the newly released "Amity: Stories from the Heartland," Brent has also written over 100 short stories and non-fiction articles. He is a respected member of the faculty at the Midwest Writers Workshop and the Indiana Writers Center, where he teaches writing at the graduate school level. Brent is passionate about environmental conservation and lives on Ploughshares Farm, dedicated to reclaiming Indiana farmland for native hardwood forests and prairie grasses. The event is Pay-What-You-Can, with suggested donation levels of FREE, $10, $20, or Other. Indy Reads appreciates the support of the community in achieving its vision of 100% literacy for all.
